Congratulations to the crews on Rig 1 for achieving five years without a Lost Time Accident (LTA)! Today we celebrated their accomplishment with a BBQ, and gave eligible employees a safety bonus of $2,500 for their achievement. Keep up the great work Rig 1!

After 28+ years with Big E Drilling Co. as a Rig Manager, and nearly 50 years in the industry Dennis Mouton decided it was time to retire. At Big E Drilling Co. we appreciate the hard work and dedication of employees such as Dennis. His dedication to the company was an inspiration to many, and he helped so many within Big E become better at what they do. Throughout the years, Lyle Eastham, CEO of Big E Drilling Co., has enjoyed giving away a new truck each year to one lucky employee; that has worked on a rig without a lost time accident (LTA). Here is an album from our previous Safety Truck Lotteries dating back to 2005-06! Participating in these Truck Lotteries is a lot of fun!

Annually, Big E Drilling Co. gives one lucky employee a brand new truck. To be eligible, employees must have worked on a rig without a LTA, and who have been employeed a minimum of one year. Our CEO Lyle Eastham thoroughly enjoys this celebration each year!
