Another one in the water.

Earlier this month, we delivered the M/V Cabby H. Boone to Canal Barge Company, the third vessel in an ongoing four-boat construction program at our Belle Chasse, LA, shipyard.

2,600 HP. Twin Mitsubishi S12R Tier 4 engines. Common propulsion and power package across all four vessels. Built right here in South Louisiana.

Recently, our Conquer Cohort program, an initiative made up of Marquette and Canal Barge employees, had the opportunity to tour C&C Marine and see one of Canal Barge’s vessels currently under construction. C&C also built Marquette’s newly christened M/V John Paul Eckstein! It’s always a great day to come together as sister companies and celebrate the collaboration that keeps our fleets moving forward!

Proud to share we recently delivered the CTOW 330 to Colonial Towing Inc. — a new double-hull tank barge built for bunker service.

With 28,000-barrel capacity, dual cargo segregations, v***r recovery, and enhanced maneuverability, CTOW 330 is built to support safe and efficient fuel handling.

Thank you to Colonial Towing, Inc. for the partnership and to our C&C team for another successful delivery.

We’re excited to share that C&C Marine & Repair is growing.

With the addition of 24 acres and a new fully automated spool shop in Belle Chasse, we’re continuing to invest in the future of our shipyard and the work we do for our customers.

This expansion will help us improve efficiency, increase capacity, and support the next generation of marine construction at C&C.

Throwback to the early days at C&C Marine & Repair.

This photo shows part of our early crew, helping build the foundation of the shipyard when we were just getting started.

Today we’ve grown to more than 300 employees in the yard across 80+ acres, but the same work ethic and commitment to quality remain at the core of what we do.

Ever wonder how we move vessels around the yard at C&C Marine & Repair?

Instead of relying on a traditional drydock capacity, we use a fleet of TII KAMAG hydraulic transporters that allow us to perform vessel repair entirely on land.

We currently operate 8 transporters, with individual payloads ranging from 300 to 420 tons and a total lifting capacity of 2,250 tons.

This capability allows us to safely move vessels throughout the yard and support the construction of larger and more sophisticated vessels while keeping projects moving efficiently.

It's one of the many pieces of infrastructure that makes our shipyard unique.

Another big delivery going out the gate — we’ve officially delivered the second of four new inland push boats for Canal Barge.

The first in the series, M/V Al Sloss, was delivered less than two months ago, and this second sister boat continues the same proven design: a 2,600 HP, Tier 4 87’ inland push boat built for dependable work on rivers, canals, and intracoastal routes.

We’re also keeping a steady rhythm on this project — the next two boats are expected at roughly two-month intervals.

A huge thank you to Canal Barge Company for the continued trust, and to our team at C&C Marine and Repair for the craftsmanship and hustle that makes deliveries like this possible. On to boat #3! ⚓️🏗️
