On December 13, 2016, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a business under construction on Coteau Rd near West Park Ave. in reference to the burglary of a utility trailer. It was learned that several thousands of dollars’ worth of tools had been stolen from the job site.

Detectives began investigating and was able to obtain video surveillance footage from a nearby business that shows two matching Ford F250 with utility type campers or tool boxes in the bed of the trucks entering and leaving the location of the burglary at approximately 2:30am on December 13, 2016. The trucks were last seen travelling north on West Park Ave.
