Not all learning takes place in a classroom. Our Horticulture class had the opportunity to tour Plant Peddler today and see large scale, commercial greenhouse production. The 10-acre greenhouse produces young plants, mums, and poinsettias. We learned about the many career opportunities in the Horticulture industry as well as pick up our poinsettias that we will be growing in the greenhouse this fall. Plantpeddler Inc. - Young Plants

As part of Service Learning Day, we had some of our chapter members clean the shoulders and ditches of Highway 21 south of town. We ended up with a total of 16 bags of trash!

Don't forget! Today is the day for our first sale of the year. Come support our junior high track athletes and stock up on your Spring plant needs. Open 4-7 pm. Free will donation but suggested prices will be posted.

April 23 and 27: 4-7 pm during home track meets
May 2 and 9: 9 am-12 pm
