Metal Processor - Fulltime Position – 40 hours/week Monday - Friday Day Shift
Overtime – as needed. Salary: TBD This position may switch to 4–10-hour days (rotating weekly from Mon – Thu and then Tue - Fri).
This is a manufacturing position to produce fusible alloys. Must be able to perform multiple duties in the melting, casting, extruding, cutting, and packaging of fusible alloys using various pieces of equipment. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and able to perform physical work with the ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs. Accurately weigh materials, use micrometers, watch gauges, dials and indicators. Steadily pour and regulate the flow of molten metal into molds and forms to produce billets, ingots, and other forms. Requires a steady hand and good eyesight. Possess the ability to listen, understand and follow verbal instruction as well as written instructions. Physically able to work in an environment that has heat from melting pots, noise, and dust. Raw material melting temperature ranges from 313 °F to 621 °F. Operate forklift to assist with lifting and transport of material during the various operations. Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
