Recently, Kevin Gay, Training Director for Nash, conducted an aluminum pipe grooving class for ongoing compressed air installations at the Walmart DC in Brooksville. This class included training on pipe end preparations, set up and adjustment of the grooving machine for the specific pipe being grooved, and the actual operation of grooving pipe to ensure safety and quality.

The Nash Fabrication team has successfully completed these condenser water supply and return manifolds for the highly secretive Project Daisy. Every weld, measurement, and connection reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail our team is known for.

Now bundled and ready for shipment, these manifolds are on their way to the jobsite, where they'll support ongoing piping operations and keep the project moving forward.

Nash recently enjoyed participating in a charity golf outing on August 10th, hosted by Balfour Beatty Construction at the Golf Club of Georgia. Nash Plumbing and Mechanical sponsored the event, benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Our VP, Greg Ellis, opened the event, emphasizing its fun and meaningful purpose. We are proud to have granted over 20 wishes for children in Florida and Georgia over the years. Thank you to all who participated and contributed!

The Nash Fabrication Team is staying busy!

Our fabrication shop is currently producing prefabricated below-grade sanitary waste piping for the new World Equestrian Center Sports Complex in Ocala, along with heating hot water valve trains for the Georgia State Prison project.

These latest assemblies will soon be loaded onto Nash transport and headed to their respective project sites, where theyโ€™ll be installed and put to work.

By prefabricating in our shop, weโ€™re able to improve quality, streamline field installation, and keep projects moving efficiently.

Recently, Training Director Kevin Gay conducted a comprehensive copper soldering and brazing class for our employee-owners working on the Tyndall Air Force Base project in Florida's Panhandle.

The hands-on training covered essential techniques and best practices, including proper cutting and deburring, flux application, tinning, lead-free soldering, selecting the correct torch and tip, and more. Participants also completed practical skills testing to reinforce quality workmanship and industry standards.

Weekly training opportunities like these reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and are a direct demonstration of our fourth Core Value: Growth.
