Safety is more than a checklist at DOWL. It's part of how we show up for each other, our clients, and the communities we serve.

We're excited to launch DOWL's new safety brand: Work Smart / Work Safe, designed to make safety more visible and top of mind in everything we do. From fieldwork to office collaboration, this brand is a reminder that every decision matters and every person plays a role in helping our teams get home safely.

Audree Nealy and Jordan Griffin are already putting the new brand to work in the field, showing off their safety kits and helping bring this refreshed safety message to life.

Happy National Emily Day from DOWL.

It felt like the perfect time for a 2026 Emily update, especially now that the club has grown. The original Emily lineup is still here, but this year we’re adding a new face from Construction Engineering. Please help us welcome Emily Starkey to the mix.

What started as a fun naming coincidence (all our past Emilys worked in our environmental group) has turned into a bit of a DOWL tradition, and honestly, we’re here for it. Different teams, different roles, same strong Emily representation.

So here’s to the Emilys of DOWL, past, present, and newly added. We can’t wait to see where the club goes next. If your name is Emily and you’ve been waiting for your moment, this might be your sign.
