Demo Day is here!

We’ve officially kicked off this remodel in Sammamish and things are moving fast. Out with the old so we can make way for something beautiful, functional, and built to last.

Not every project is a major remodel. Sometimes homeowners just want a beautiful upgrade, without dealing with the logistics.

For these long-time Lakeville clients in Medina, the goal was simple: replace their darker espresso floors with something lighter and more timeless.

We handled everything from start to finish, including demo, dump runs, coordinating movers, flooring installers, and painters.

The result: 7.5" wide plank European Oak engineered flooring that completely transforms the first floor.

A common challenge we see in older homes…

The homeowners love their house, but the kitchen feels closed off and cramped.

That was a problem we addressed during this extensive remodel Lakeville completed in Seattle. Our team tackled a structural obstacle in the center of the kitchen, an existing post that interrupted the sightlines and flow of the space.

To open things up, we replaced the central post with a larger structural beam, a solution that required careful planning and attention to detail to ensure it integrated seamlessly with the home’s existing architecture.

Check out the result - a much more connected kitchen, dining, and living area.

Just wrapped and right in time for Super Bowl Sunday.

We recently finished this Bellevue media wall, and it’s made for Seahawks football. It proves you don’t need a massive living room to create a Super Bowl-worthy setup. Custom built-ins, integrated A/V, a sleek electric fireplace, and a wine cooler, all designed to deliver big performance in a small space. We had a blast working with the clients on this one, they were so great. We hope their family can enjoy it for years to come.

Today, the Lakeville Homes family is heartbroken.
We are devastated to share that Robert Brittingham, the photographer who documented our work for the past two and a half years, passed away suddenly from a heart attack.
Robert didn’t just photograph our projects. He helped shape who we are today. Lakeville has been around for 40 years, but he gave us a fresh, modern look. His images and drone work brought our custom homes, remodels, and additions to life. The photos you see here, some of our favorites, are the work we built our new website and branding around, and the work we proudly submitted for industry awards because he made us look so good.
On a personal note, I (Kellie) spent 20 years in TV news, and working creatively with Robert on shoot days brought back something I deeply missed. Sometimes I’d feel anxious heading into an important shoot, but the moment he arrived, I knew everything would be handled with care, humor, and heart. He knew exactly what to do. He was part of our team.
And beyond the camera, he became our friend. He handled complicated dynamics with grace, told the best stories, talked Ohio, Audis, Mini Coopers, and listened patiently as I talked about MY Audi and MY kids, including my son, Cooper.
I’m deeply grateful that I told him how much we appreciated him and that he heard it. A sad but important reminder to let people know how you feel.
We celebrate Robert, his incredible talent, and the person behind the lens. He will always be part of Lakeville.
