Echo Ultrasonics

Echo Ultrasonics Echo Ultrasonics produces a new generation of ultrasonic couplants with a higher standard in cost to performance ratio.

A new generation of NDT ultrasonic couplants is emerging that delivers a higher standard in cost to performance ratio. Products are based on current chemistry, regulatory requirements and manufacturing technology that improves product uniformity. We have been developing and manufacturing NDT ultrasonic couplants for over 40 years. Each decade, experience combined with user feedback, new opportunit

ies in chemistry and changes in the use of ultrasonics resulted in our development of new and improved couplants. Founder, Gene Larson, has formulated most of the NDT ultrasonic couplants commercially available in the United States. These products include Exosen in the 1960’s, Ultragel II®, Sonotrace® and Echogel® in the 1970’s, Soundsafe® and Sono® 600 in the 1980’s and Sono® 950 and UT-X® in the 1990’s, as well as numerous medical ultrasound couplants and transducers. Echo Ultrasonics™ is committed to our customers and focused on developing solutions and products to all UT coupling requirements. We offer custom formulations, packaging options as well as metallurgical and physical testing. We accept small and large orders and provide prompt shipment. As leaders in the progression of ultrasonic couplants, we welcome you to experience our new wave of products.

Cold weather shouldn’t slow down your inspections. EchoFlow™ is engineered to stay pumpable down to –40°F / –40°C, reduce surface noise, and enhance ultrasound transmission, ensuring consistent performance in freezing conditions. Standard UT fluids can thicken or freeze, making automated testing difficult or even impossible.

Learn more about EchoFlow and our full lineup of cold-weather UT solutions in our latest blog, in our newsletter, or on our website: https://www.echoultrasonics.com/news-updates/cold-weather-ut-testing-echo-ultrasonics-has-you-covered/

When a customer’s UPS package went missing, our team jumped into action to build a replacement 30FT custom Evident cable and ship it that same day.

Even though the delay was out of our hands, we made it our priority to get them what they needed as quickly as possible.
Moments like this show what we value most at Echo Ultrasonics — responsiveness, reliability, and taking care of our customers.

ASNT (The American Society for Nondestructive Testing) 2025 was a success! 🎊
The Echo Ultrasonics team had an amazing time showcasing our complete line of ultrasonic couplants and durable cables. We loved hearing how Echo products are being used in the field and appreciated the opportunity to connect with the NDT community in person.
