FSAE EV 2026 Competition
Two weeks ago, the team got to compete in the 2026 FSAE EV Michigan event.
After passing accumulator and mechanical inspection on Wednesday, the team cleared EV active, tilt, rain, and brake on the first try Thursday. This made us the 12th car at competition to complete full technical inspection. Friday, V67 became WWU Racing’s first EV to race in Michigan, competing in skidpad, acceleration, and autocross. Saturday, Viking 67 finished all 22 laps of endurance.
V67 has placed 17th out of 100 teams at comp, the highest a WWU Racing EV has ever placed. We will also be returning to Bellingham with a third place efficiency trophy and a top 10 placement in cost.
To everyone who ever helped with V67: to our sponsors, our advisors, our alumni, to our families and friends, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. None of this could have been possible without you.
These past two years have redefined what WWU Racing is capable of. We pushed ourselves further than ever before, learned from one another, and built something we can all be proud of. The success of V67 reflects not only the strength of the car, but the strength of the team behind it.
We made history last week, and we can’t wait to do it again next year. Thank you all.
