We are sharing this news report to help our customers understand what's going on in the HVAC industry. In all true honesty, while tariffs and getting parts is indeed more difficult than ever, the big problem is the EPA who continues to change freon laws. This causes hvac equipment to become obsolete much sooner than in the past and drives up the cost of most freon to astronomical numbers. Freon is a commodity, just like gasoline and pricing changes every single day. We have seen it climb hundreds of dollars over night in some cases
At Honeycutt Air we have taken the position that MAINTENANCE is the most important thing you can do for your system to keep it running as long as possible. Regular maintenance, changing filters and keeping coils clean can lengthen the life of your investment and hopefully keep you from having to make large investments in new equipment. Please rest assured, there is no price gauging, no ripping off and lies being told. This is a serious issue as we all know how important our HVAC systems are to our home/office comfort in Texas. The issues are very real and we want to make you aware!

PSA: To all our friends, customers, neighbors and even strangers…we have begun receiving requests for parking or access to our property during the coming Festival 5/1-2. After careful consideration and thought into the best interest of our company we are electing to take a solid “NO PARKING” position on the subject. This means everyone except our hired security. Additionally we have elected to further protect our property with private armed security including K-9 thru out the weekend. Thank you for understanding!
