Working with us:
JLJ Management is a Chicago-based residential construction company that is currently seeking a Carpenter for construction, rehab, renovation, design, and residential demolition. JLJ Management has contributed to the rebuilding of residential homes on the south and west side of Chicago. Much of the work you will be doing will be interesting and rewarding as no two projects are the same. We are proud of the fact that our crews work 12 months out of the year. We are focused on engaging our employees and encouraging them to develop and grow. We enjoy great relationships with our sub-trades making for a pleasant and professional work environment.

What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a skilled carpenter who takes pride in his or her work and enjoys working as part of the team. The position requires a general carpentry experience with skills and knowledge in a wide-range of carpentry work. Experience with demo and deconstruction, and mold remediation is preferred but is not required.

What we’re offering:

Depending on skill level and experience, we are offering between $24-30/hr. You must have a valid driver’s license. Five years of carpentry experience (preferred).

Learning the ropes of carpentry has been an incredible journey so far. From measuring twice and cutting once to mastering the art of sanding, every day is a new opportunity to hone various skills and become a master craftsman.
