Our Community Relations Manager, Emily Blackburn Winter, spent the morning volunteering with Cherryville Area Ministries’ Mobile Food Pantry, helping serve families across the Cherryville community. From organizing food to connecting with neighbors, it was a meaningful day centered around compassion and service.

We’re proud to support organizations like Cherryville Area Ministries that are making a real difference in the lives of so many. Opportunities like this remind us that strong communities are built through service, partnership, and showing up for one another.

We were proud to host our recent Community Town Hall and were encouraged by the engagement from those who attended both in person and online.

REMINDER: Elevra (formerly Piedmont Lithium) will host a public information session on Thursday, February 19 to provide a company update following our recent merger, share information on the Carolina Lithium Project, and present an overview of the proposed NCDEQ draft air permit.

The meeting will include a formal presentation followed by question-and-answer sessions to allow community members to learn more and provide feedback.

Where: Cherryville Community Building | 108 S. Jacob Street
When: Thursday, February 19
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Presentation will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
Please note: Seating will be limited.

Community Relations Manager Emily Blackburn Winter was honored to serve as a judge for the Gaston County Regional Science & Engineering Fair.

Last month, she judged the elementary school fair and this week had the opportunity to judge middle and high school projects. Emily shared, “It was inspiring to see the creativity, curiosity, and hard work of students across all ages - the future of Gaston County is bright!”

Middle school students shared their science fair projects, explained their ideas and answered questions at the Gaston Regional Science and Engineering Fair.

What a magical way to celebrate our first event as Elevra Lithium! We joined the Cherryville Christmas Parade, hosted by the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce, riding in style on a lithium-powered golf cart.

We’re so excited to be part of this wonderful community and can’t wait for many more celebrations together!
