Elevra is hosting a Community Open House on Thursday, September 17, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at our Main Street Cherryville Office.

CEO Lucas Dow and members of the Elevra team will be available to meet with community members, answer questions, and hear your thoughts about the Carolina Lithium Project.

Congratulations to our own Emily Blackburn Winter, Community Relations Manager at Elevra, on being recognized as a Gaston County Jaycees 5 Under 40 Distinguished Service Award recipient!

Emily's passion for serving others extends far beyond the workplace. Through her leadership in community relations and her involvement with numerous local boards, committees, and nonprofit organizations, she has dedicated herself to strengthening education, supporting community initiatives, and building meaningful relationships throughout Gaston County.

Emily Winter is a geologist and the Community Relations Manager for Elevra Lithium: Carolina, where she combines her passion for science, education, and community engagement to build meaningful relationships and support responsible resource development in Gaston County 🧪

A proud Cherryville native, Emily is deeply committed to giving back to the community that helped shape her into who she is today. Through her role at Elevra and her involvement with numerous local organizations, she works to strengthen educational opportunities, support community initiatives, and foster connections across the region.

Emily currently serves on the boards and committees of Alliance for Children & Youth/Communities In Schools, the Cherryville Family YMCA, the Gaston County Family YMCA Corporate Board, the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce Events Committee, the Leadership Gaston Advisory Board, the NextGen Steering Committee, the Cherryville High School Education Foundation Board of Directors, the Piedmont Lithium Foundation, and the Cherryville Rotary Club.

Whether she is leading geology education programs, supporting local nonprofits, organizing community events, or serving alongside fellow volunteers, Emily is passionate about making a positive impact in Gaston County. She believes Cherryville is the best hidden gem in Gaston County and is dedicated to helping the community continue to grow and thrive for future generations! 💫

Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Elevra!

We were proud to open our Main Street Cherryville office as a cooling station during Cherryville's Independence Day Celebration for city workers, volunteers, members of the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce Events Committee, and our local police officers as they worked tirelessly to make the event a success.

Thank you to the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce for organizing another fantastic celebration that brings our community together each year.

We hope everyone had a safe, fun, and memorable Independence Day celebrating with family, friends, and community.
