Working on two Test Benches for VR Applicants.

One is a Dip Tube design that I first built in the early 1990's. There are a number of these in use today across the USA. We built them for PRV Manufacturers, Assemblers, VR Holders and Nuclear Power Stations. The Dip Tube design is a compact, low profile, unit that is capable of Air/Gas and Liquid Service PRV Testing.

The other Test Bench we are fabricating is an Air/Gas Only Test Bench for use in the Natural Gas Sector. This unit has both Low Volume and High Volume Test Capability. The Low Volume application serves to test small, high pressure PRV which the High Volume provides cushioning of the reseat to allow testing of larger size PRVs which are typically set at lower pressures.

This PRV Seat Leak Tester is a valuable Shop Tool for verifying the condition of PRV Seating Surfaces prior to placing a PRV on the Test Bench. It is also an excellent training aid. It gives an objective evaluation of the student's Lapping Skills without involving the subjective evaluation of the instructor. JAC Test Equipment can privide this tool for our clients.
