: Repeatability Matters
Accurate fuel indication isn't just about getting the right reading—it's about getting the same reliable reading every time.
Traditional mechanical float-arm senders can experience hysteresis, meaning the indicated fuel level may differ depending on whether the tank is being filled or emptied. The wiper moving across a resistive track can also introduce mechanical wear and electrical variability over time.
CiES digital fuel senders use non-contact AMR sensing to determine float position, eliminating the wiper-to-track interface. The result is improved measurement repeatability across the operating range, giving pilots more consistent fuel level information they can trust.
