We all love wildlife (from a distance!), but when raccoons decide your sparkling pool is their private spa, bar, and, ahem... restroom? That's where the fun stops! 🛑

These clever critters are drawn to pools for a refreshing drink, a quick bath, and yes – they really do wash their food in there. 🐿️ (Not exactly the five-star service we're aiming for!) And the absolute worst part? They often use shallow water for their "business," leaving behind droppings that can carry a nasty parasitic roundworm (Baylisascaris procyonis) – dangerous for both humans and pets. YIKES!

Time to Uninvite the Party Animals! Here's how to deter those furry freeloaders (the serious, effective way):
* Seal it Up! 🔒 A properly fitted, anchored safety cover is your best defense. No cover, no entry!�
* No Free Snacks! 🗑️ Secure pet food, compost bins, and trash cans. Fallen fruit from trees? Scoop it up!�
* Surprise Attack! 💦 Motion-activated lights, sprinklers, or ultrasonic repellers are like a polite (but startling) "Go away!"�
