Nothing beats taking a breather to celebrate the people doing the heavy lifting — especially when it doubles as a way to give back to a great cause!

To mark the topping-out milestone at Britta Ridge Apartments, we teamed up with deChase Miksis for their long-running "Lunch for Lunch" tradition. It’s a concept we love: gather the crew, eat well, celebrate progress, and support a local cause.

And our field crews definitely earned the party! Beyond the BBQ (thanks Baldy's BBQ!), the crew walked away with some sweet raffle prizes — everything from Blackstone griddles and iPads to paddleboards, Yeti coolers, golf packages, and car detailing.

Between attendee donations and matching contributions from deChase and CS Construction, we raised $5,000 for the Humane Society of Central Oregon.

⛳️🏌️‍♂️ We may have discovered a few future PGA pros at the J Bar J Youth Services Support Center Project Celebration on June 17!

Guests gathered out in the field to test their skills in our golf chipping challenge, aiming for targets worth $100, $300, $500, and the extra-tricky $1,000 prize. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing construction sponsors, every dollar raised goes directly to J Bar J Youth Services.

🎉 Together, we raised an incredible $6,300 — and launched plenty of golf balls (and a few chunks of Central Oregon earth) into the air along the way!

We're trading golden shovels for golf clubs! ⛳

Join CS Construction and J Bar J Youth Services on June 17 at 12:00 PM at 62895 Hamby Road in Bend as we celebrate the kickoff of J Bar J's newest project: their Support Center.

We're putting a fun twist on the traditional groundbreaking with a golf chipping fundraiser, where members of the project team will take aim at donation targets to raise money for J Bar J and the incredible work they do supporting youth and families throughout Central Oregon.

The community is invited to stop by, enjoy some light snacks, watch the action, and help us celebrate this exciting milestone.

A few of the CS office gals got the chance to swap our desks for tool belts during Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity's Women Build Week—and we had a blast!

While we're usually behind a computer, this time we got to jump onto the jobsite and help with everything from installing siding to trimming doors and hanging cabinets. It gave us a whole new appreciation for the skilled tradespeople who do this work every day.

A huge thank you to the amazing Habitat team for showing us the ropes, answering our many questions, and empowering us to try something new. We left with a few new skills, a little more confidence, and a lot of appreciation for the work Habitat does in our community.

Excited to share CS Construction's progress on Third Garage Flex Space in Sisters, Oregon—a project we’re proud to be building alongside owners Rob and Angela Moneyhan.

This development was driven by a clear need: creating walkable, flexible retail and small business space in a growing community that lacked those opportunities. Through thoughtful planning and flexible zoning, Third Garage is delivering a high-value solution for both businesses and the surrounding neighborhood.

Project highlights:
· 55% leased
· Remaining spaces from 900–2,700 SF
· Shell spaces delivering Summer 2026
· Certificate of Occupancy achieved 12/30/25
· Delivered in just 9 months from groundbreaking

Located near the Barclay Drive bypass, the project is already home to great tenants including The Gym by Sisters Physical Therapy, Cuvee Wine Bar, and Blacktail Golf.

We’re continuing to build out tenant spaces and are excited to see this community hub come to life.

CS Construction had the chance to host a subcontractor appreciation lunch out at Touchmark at Pilot Butte, and it was one of those moments that reminds you what this industry is all about.

At CS Construction, we’re always looking for ways to build more responsibly - and the Redmond Landing Affordable Housing project is a great example of that in action.

We recently installed a rainwater reclamation system that captures runoff directly from the roof and stores it in a 1,700-gallon underground tank. This collected water is then reused for irrigation throughout the property. 🌧

By reusing natural resources, this system:
• Reduces overall water demand
• Lowers energy use and emissions
• Helps prevent erosion and stormwater runoff

Small systems like this make a big impact! 🌎

We hit a big milestone out at Britta Ridge Apartments this month: we flew trusses on the first of three buildings🪁! While Building 1 moves forward with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins, the next buildings are already underway with foundations and framing.

This 178-unit project is a team effort, and we’re proud to be working alongside Kenneth Buehner, Severson Plumbing & Home Services, Latham Excavation & Services, LLC , JKD Construction and Bright Services.
