Pelseal Technologies is an established manufacturing company based in Bensalem, PA, specializing in the areas of adhesives, caulks, coatings, and sealants. We are currently seeking a full-time employee to perform the following duties:
• Production Technician – Formulate ingredients, assemble & pack products as well as monitor and check quality. Prepare customer orders - weighing materials using multiple scales and calculator & prepare containers for filling with finished product.
• Shipping Associate – Handle shipping and warehousing duties, primarly picking and packing orders. Pulling items from a packing slip, ensuring proper labels, and packing according to CFR 49 and IATA regulations.
• As needed – Some warehouse work and / or production assistance.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Loading and off-loading trucks
• Work with reducing machinery
• Maintain shipping area & overall warehouse housekeeping
• Willing to be trained and certified to operate forklift / pallet jack
Requirements:
• Familiar with Manufacturing production process flow; experience in a production setting
• Ability to use a gram scale, weigh-out scale and calculator with ease; familiarity with chemical handling / solvent experience or with industrial recipes is a big plus
• Experience in adhesives, coatings, paint, or sealant manufacturing is a big plus
• Ability to stand and move easily around the warehouse as well as ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals - must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment such as mask, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes
• Shipping experience (e.g., UPS, Fed-ex); Small package and LTL
• Experience shipping Dangerous Goods is a plus
• Familiar with Microsoft Access / Excel
• Reliable transportation
