💪🔥 Straight Out of a Mission: Impossible Scene...

We’ve seen a lot of wild installs over the years—but yesterday, Bill took it to another level. In a narrow Philly alley, he managed to mount an AC condenser 8 feet up on a brick wall—with no lift, barely any space, and all precision.

Ropes, problem-solving, and some serious skill—it felt like a scene from Mission: Impossible, only the mission was comfort and safety for our customer, and failure was not an option. 😎

Who is up for more history?!
Little Sisters Copy… But Sometimes They Come Full Circle 💛
So my big sister recently shared the story of how Kop’s Repair got started—right here in our old neighborhood, with a toolbox, a big dream, and a whole lot of hustle. 💪 If you haven’t read it yet, go check it out @ Morrell Park It’s a piece of our family history.
And now here I am… the little sister. 😄 You know how little sisters are—we follow our big sisters, learn from them, and yeah, sometimes copy them (guilty!). But life took us on very different paths for a while.
I’m originally a Philly girl from Morrell Park—born right here in the city—but life had a few detours in store. While my sister was building the business, raising a family, and going to college here in Philly, I spent most of my years moving around. I grew up in Northern Utah, and later lived in Colorado and Wisconsin. Let me tell you—going from Philly to a tiny rural town in Utah in the '80s? That was a culture shock! 😅 Although our relationship remained strong, we always figured it would we long distance.
In 1996, I married my high school sweetheart—who just so happens to be the best HVAC technician in town (yes, I’m biased, but also right 💁‍♀️). Together we raised two amazing kids, a few dogs, juggled careers, relocated a few times, and lived a lot of life.
Education was always my passion—I earned my Bachelor’s in Special Education from the University of Utah in 2009 and finished my Master’s in 2021. All while building a life we loved out west.
Then came a totally unexpected turning point… at an Eric Church concert of all things!
We flew out to Philly for the show in Jersey with my sister and brother-in-law ( 👋), and we had such an amazing time. We had one of those “what if?” moments that turned into “why not?” We went home to Utah, talked some things through, and soon after… we sold our house, packed up our life, and came back East—a full-circle moment for me, for sure.
Now, here I am, side-by-side with my sister—helping run Kop’s Repair, a family business grounded in honesty, quality, and a deep love for this community.
