Strong land starts here

This neighborhood spillway needed a permanent fix.
Every heavy rain was washing the area out.
Before landscaping could go in, the grading had to be corrected.
We regraded the entire spillway to control the flow of water and direct it properly.

Then we installed rip rap to:
✔ Slow down water velocity
✔ Filter sediment
✔ Prevent future washout
✔ Protect the surrounding slope

Proper grading controls the water.
Rip rap protects the investment.

Good buildings start with good dirt work

They were adding a new 3-bay garage and needed the concrete floor higher than the existing grade.

The solution?
A stem wall slab.

A stem wall slab combines a block wall with a slab.
It adds strength and stability.
It also helps in areas with uneven ground or water concerns.

Here’s what we did:

✔ Filled the inside of the stem walls with sand
✔ Compacted every 4 inches for solid support
✔ Built the grade up to the correct elevation for concrete
✔ Backfilled around the foundation for proper water flow

Everything was packed tight, set to grade, and ready for the pour.

When elevation matters, compaction matters even more.

The builder needed help — fast.

After inspection, a few items needed attention.

The driveway needed surge rock instead of ABC and fabric.
Returns needed to be installed at the driveway.
The ditch and hillside needed seed and straw matting to prevent washout.

We got the call and showed up as soon as possible.

✔ Installed fabric and surge rock on the drive
✔ Installed and shaped the returns
✔ Seeded and straw matted the ditch and slope
✔ Made sure everything was ready to pass

Every heavy rain flooded their crawlspace and garage...

This homeowner was constantly dealing with water coming into their crawlspace and garage after every storm.

The problem?

🚧 A steep 5-foot drop in the driveway sloping straight toward the house
🌧 All the neighbor’s drainage flowing directly onto their property
💧 Water had nowhere to go except into the foundation

Here’s how we fixed it:

✔ Cut the driveway down 6 feet to correct the slope
✔ Installed a swale alongside the drive to redirect neighbor runoff
✔ Regraded the front yard to push water away from the home
✔ Compacted and new Gravel for long-term stability

Now when it rains, the water flows away from the house not into it.

Most flooding issues aren’t plumbing problems.
They’re grading problems.

Grade it right the first time.

We did the final grade on this home to make sure water flows away from the house. We re-cut the ditch for proper drainage and cleaned the driveway pipe.

The lot is now smooth, clean, and ready for the landscaper to get to work.

Solid ground starts with elevation.

Our builder had a piece of land that needed a lot of work. It needed to be cleared, and there was a 15-foot drop from the road to the front of the house.

We cleared the lot, pulled the roots, and hauled away all the brush. Then we cut down 8 feet of dirt and removed it from the site.

Now the lot is usable, clean, and ready for the next step.

Our customer was paying to board her horses, even though she had half an acre of land at home. The land was too wet for the horses and uneven to build a stable.

She called us for help. We built a level pad so her stable could be built. After that, we added screening (a sand-like gravel) in the stalls and around the barn to help stop erosion and protect the horses’ hooves.

We also graded the rest of the land so rainwater would drain properly into her pond.

Now her land is usable, and her horses are home.
