Blackhawk Enterprises is a small and growing family run construction company. We handle residential buildings and deal in many types of construction including: kitchens and bathrooms, home theater AV, decks and hardscaping, ect. We are looking for a lead carpenter to help expand our business.
The skills and requirements are as follows:
-Good knowledge of power tools and hand tools
-Ability to start and finish the project on time whether alone or leading a team
-Physically able to move and lift materials
-Must have reliable transportation and own tools
-Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
-Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
-Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
-Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
-Erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
-Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
-Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers when applicable
The standard schedule is as follows:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday (sometimes weekends depending on job schedule)
