We recently moved and properly re-installed an outdoor unit. The unit was sitting on a sunkin equipment pad which was really unlevel and didn’t allow the unit to drain the condensate during the winter. We raised the unit using an 18” tall stand. The unit is now level, drains properly, off the ground and away from the dirt and snow.
Another issue was that there wasn’t a code required electrical disconnect. We installed a disconnect and surge suppression.
Proper installation allows the equipment will operate as designed and ensures longevity.

We recently completed a two zone heat pump project. The Outdoor unit is a 36k btu Fujitsu extra low temp unit. Indoors received two high wall units with Wi-Fi. There is room and output capacity left on the outdoor unit to add another zone in the future.
