This Fourth of July, we are celebrating 250 years of the United States, but seqWell would also like to celebrate 250 years of American scientific innovation.

In 1743, Benjamin Franklin founded the American Philosophical Society with the mission of promoting "useful knowledge." That was 33 years before the Declaration of Independence. Franklin was already betting that curiosity and collaboration could help build a country.

Two and a half centuries later, that bet keeps paying off. The same spirit that once mapped electricity now maps genomes. At seqWell, we are proud to carry a small piece of that legacy forward, making NGS library prep simpler and more scalable so researchers can spend less time at the bench and more time on discovery.

Happy 250th, America. Here is to the next breakthrough.
