Our expansion in Granville, Ohio is coming together. The cantilevered deck off the new kitchen will provide a small spot for many hours of morning coffees and afternoon/ evening cocktails. Especially on days with weather like today!

Pete Foster Residential Design 2024 travels took in parts of Cincinnati this weekend and made a stop in Spring Grove Cemetary (Frederick Law Olmstead). It has been quite a few years since I had visited this special place. Even though the leaves are not on the trees and the sky was gray, the landscape design creates such an amazing setting for the many sacred sculptures of remembrance and amazing architectural elements.

Construction has begun and framing is about to kick into high gear on this total house gut and expansion in the Granville, Ohio area. Here are a few process sketches (somewhat technical and precise in one aspect and artful and suggestive in others) as we began to mesh the two and nail down the elements of the new front entry sequence that traverses the topography of the site and welcomes you. design

Progress has started on the expansion/ renovation/ re-invention of this existing home near downtown Granville. We all can’t wait to see the views from the various spaces not only towards town, but also in to the surrounding trees.

Sunny days like today keep the outdoor entertaining spaces open even if you are not up for doing a polar plunge. This was a new pool house / pavilion/ pool/ putting green project completed a couple of years ago. It was an enjoyable collaboration with and an awesome client. Years of fun to be had.
