We’re thankful for being a part of this project and for the opportunity to work in our local communities!
🎉 Kickoff Celebration at the Bailey Robbins Building 🎉
Today marked an exciting beginning in downtown Pennington Gap with the kickoff event for the renovation of the historic Bailey Robbins Building. After years of planning, the town and Quesenberry's Construction are thrilled to set the wheels in motion for this significant downtown revitalization project.
🏗️ "The town purchased this abandoned gem with the vision of sparking a major transformation in our downtown area, creating spaces for new businesses to thrive," shared Keith Harless, Town Manager.
🛠️ With Quesenberry's Construction of Big Stone Gap winning the bid for this pivotal project, President Abran Quesenberry expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are honored to work on this building and to be a part of the Pennington community's growth. We eagerly anticipate the completion of this project and the opportunities it will unveil."
📐 The renovation will unveil two modern, 2,000 sq ft spaces equipped with the latest electric, HVAC, and handicap-accessible restrooms, all while preserving the building's original charm with a flat roof and historic storefront designs.
🌟 "We are bringing the Bailey Robbins Building back to its glory days," said Harless. Upon completion, the Pennington IDA will lease these spaces, inviting entrepreneurs to bring or start their businesses here.
