We pulled approximately 2,500 lbs of concrete liner and reinforcement steel out of this surge tank in the steam plant at Montana State University before blasting and giving it two coats of ENECON CeramAlloy HTL. This older system now has a high temperature ceramic coating throughout and is ready to serve the thousands of students and staff for many more years.

Oh, it’s in the basement and we need to wheelbarrow the debris via freight elevator? OK.

It’s in a steam plant so it’s 100 degrees down there? Sounds great.

It needs to be done in a week so the students can come back? On it!

Someone’s gotta do the hard stuff and, sometimes, the hard stuff is specialty concrete repairs 10 stories in the air in 100+ degree heat. 🥵

🚫 Skip the acrylic cure & seal.

It has to be completely removed before we can install a coating, and any residue can lead to adhesion issues.

How cool is this? Everyone thought this 100 year old tire shop floor had red epoxy on it, including us. Turns out, it was a red surface colorant. We did a heavy grind, significant repairs, and then an epoxy sealer. It’s absolutely one of a kind!

When people ask us what it takes to grind a floor, we tell them it’s like mowing the lawn. But our push mower weighs 1600 lbs and is tethered to a 650 lb HEPA vac. 😎

Here’s a cool hybrid flake project! This is “Blacktop” and it literally looks like wet asphalt. Pretty cool floor for this new restaurant on King Ave!
