An update on the addition to the Oasis swim park. Weave Construction has started forming and pouring site concrete and with the continued support of the Better Billings Foundation, Billings is on its way to having the first & only wave surfer in the continental United States. This addition will be open to the public coming this June.

Ok, we understand how horrible this photo is, so feel free to laugh. However, we wanted to give a rough idea as to what to expect this weekend if you come to the Zoo. Weave Construction is making great progress on the lot, but know it's a bit chaotic for parking. The red lines on this map indicate the places that will be available for vehicles. The small west side of the lot will be typical parking, but we do ask if you park along the north or east roadways, that you parallel park to ensure traffic can still get though. Of course, please use caution for pedestrians, and if you park on Pierce Parkway, please use caution crossing Shiloh (we are being a squeaky wheel about making that crossing safer). Again, thank you for your patience over the next month as we get this project checked off the bucket list!

With asphalt parking lots paved, the crew has started on the two separate concrete block retaining walls. One wall will be over 500 linear feet long, while the one in the picture will be just over 200 linear feet long. Once completed, the ten-foot-wide asphalt path will run along the top overlooking Billings.

Here is an update on Weave Construction's current progress on Skyline Trail. Concrete walkways and curb are in the process on being poured. Our grading crew is continuing to smooth and finish gravel in preparation for the asphalt parking areas coming early-to-mid June. With steady coordination from Sanderson Stewart, Weave Construction is constantly finding ways to bring Billings its most scenic trail yet. Stay tuned!
