Belle Chemical is looking to hire a part-time office assistant to be responsible for the general operation and management of our office. Duties will involve answering phone calls, purchasing supplies, taking inventory and ensuring product inventory levels are maintained in offsite warehouses.
Tasks:
Create shipments according to orders using FedEx, UPS, USPS and Fulfillment by Amazon.
Manage Amazon inventory and determine stock requirements to maintain inventory levels.
Scheduling raw material and finished product freight, and small package shipments.
Creating, maintaining and entering information into databases.
Creating and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Maintaining supply inventory.
Performing office clerk duties and errands.
Preparing invoices and purchase orders
Answering, forwarding and screening phone calls
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience as an office assistant or related field (2-3 years preferred)
Ability to write and communicate clearly
Warm personality with strong communication skills
Ability to work well under limited supervision
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.

Warehouse and Logistics Assistant

The warehouse and logistics assistant will be responsible for providing support to many facets of the company. This position will require a strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, a willingness to learn new things and the ability to multi-task. This is a flexible position that will alternate between office and warehouse.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Shipping and receiving
• Process customer returns
• Writing reports
• Warehouse inventory management (Shipping, Production and Miscellaneous supplies)
• Assist with Product inventory (raw and finished)
• Freight and small package logistics
• Working with suppliers, vendors and clients to coordinate orders, raw materials and packaging
• Ensuring all orders are packed and shipped correctly
• Assist with quality assurance and operations documentation, production and inspections
• Assist Shipping and Logistics Department with inventory management for Walmart and Amazon to maintain proper levels
• Support the marketing department as needed to ensure quality control and timely delivery of materials
• Assist production line as needed

This position will spend half the time in the office and half the time in the warehouse. This is an active position with repetitive motions, heavy lifting (50 pounds), typing and working in a fast-paced environment.
