The Greater Gallatin United Way's United Night of Giving is one of our favorite events of the year, and Sanbell is honored to support it as a corporate sponsor. Earlier this week we asked a question: what do the people who use infrastructure every day actually need? The Grant Street Corridor at Montana State University is one of our favorite answers to that question. A campus street nobody needed became a celebrated pedestrian destination inspired by the diverse and unique landscape of Montana, and it is a pretty good introduction to the level of work Mike Rose and Jim Hanson do and the kind of work Sanbell is positioned to deliver at a national level.

Happy National Public Works Week!

Since 1960, APWA has dedicated the third week of May to recognizing the professionals who plan, design, build, manage, and maintain the infrastructure that supports the quality of life millions of families depend on every single day. Sanbell is proud to be part of that community and proud of the public works projects our teams deliver across the Western U.S. every year! A highlight worth sharing: the City of Concord recently featured four Sanbell projects in their road construction video, Monument Boulevard, Cowell Road and Galindo, Crosswalk Enhancements, and Port Chicago Highway.

Congratulations on winning the 2026 Silicon Valley APWA Project of the Year for the El Monte Fire Station Utility Undergrounding Project in Los Altos Hills, and an Honorable Mention for the Crittenden Lane Reconstruction in Mountain View! Work this good does not happen without great clients and partners alongside you. CSTP Week is our way of doing exactly that by recognizing the engineers, planners, designers, and every Cool, Smart, Talented Person at Sanbell who make us who we are and bring the love to every project and community we serve. All week long our offices are coming together for daily drawings and prizes, good food, peer nominations, and more. Day one was a great start and there is a lot more week left!

Some places just do hospitality right and Jackson Hole, Wyoming is one of them! Construction Manager Seth Neuhoff, PE and Senior Engineer Ryan Rigg, PE represented Sanbell at the APWA Rocky Mountain Conference recently, and between the mountain views, the very cool connections made (and yes, the obligatory photo under the iconic elk antler arches) it was a trip worth making. Ryan made the trek from Fort Collins, bringing serious municipal chops to a room full of the best public works minds in the region. We're so grateful for the APWA community... and for colleagues and CSTP willing to go the extra mile (or several hundred).
