I am currently offering a comprehensive HVAC maintenance service for $129.00.

You may see advertisements for significantly lower-priced “maintenance specials.” In many cases, those offers are introductory rates designed to get in the door, with additional charges added after the initial inspection. My approach is straightforward and thorough — the service is performed properly the first time, with clear communication about any findings before additional work is done.

What’s Included in the $129 Maintenance:
• Inspect and verify refrigerant charge
• If refrigerant is low, a leak search can be scheduled if needed.
• Flush and clear condensate drain lines
• wash outdoor condenser coil
• Inspect indoor evaporator coil condition
• If heavily soiled, a cleaning estimate will be provided.
• Inspect blower assembly
• If removal and deep cleaning are required, an additional fee will apply.
• Inspect and test all electrical components
• Test system operation in both cooling and heating modes
• This includes verifying electric heat strips are functioning properly and not remaining energized, which can reduce cooling efficiency and significantly increase electric bills.
• Clean outdoor condenser unit

This maintenance ensures the entire system is carefully inspected and operating as it should.

• Blower removal and deep cleaning
• Replacement of defective parts
• Full indoor coil chemical cleaning
• Refrigerant leak repairs

If any issues are found, you will be informed and given pricing before any additional work is performed.

Service Call Policy for Maintenance special for summer 2026:

If a service call is requested and no mechanical issue is found upon arrival, a standard service call fee will apply.

If a repair is required, the service call fee will be waived (an 89 dollar value), and only the cost of the repair will be charged.

As an added benefit, customers who complete a maintenance service will receive a complimentary service call during the summer months if the system experiences a breakdown after the maintenance has been performed. (Repair costs, if needed, would still apply.)

Those 49 dollar tuneups/maintenance sounds real good to customers! We all know a service call costs more than that. Don’t be fooled by these low cost maintenance advertisements. I can promise that’s just to get their foot in the door. Once they get in your home be prepared to spend some money. They will find any and every little thing they can to rack up that invoice ticket, maybe even try to sell you a new system. There are several hvac companies that will not work on an older system just because its R22 refrigerant type. They will walk away or sell you a new system. When cooltek comes out we explain what all needs to be replaced and what can wait if you chose to hold off or are on a budget. Cooltek is an honest HVAC company.
