The manufacturing industry lost over half a million jobs during the start of the pandemic, and nearly all of those positions remained open a year later.

According to the latest survey by Deloitte and The Manufacturing Institute, nearly 45% of manufacturing executives have turned down business opportunities due to a lack of workers. The U.S. manufacturing industry is expected to have 2.1 million unfilled jobs by 2030. The economic impact of this gap is significant with estimates of lost economic growth topping $1 trillion or more.

Custom Interface Celebrates 25 Years

2022 marks Custom Interface’s 25th anniversary year, and in celebration we are planning a year of activities and special events. Custom Interface’s doors were officially opened on October 15, 1997 by Nancy White, who remains the Chief Executive Officer. The company has grown to over 75 employees and ships products all over the world (and beyond).

While our experience, products and services have expanded since 1997, Custom Interface continues to excel with wire and cable harnesses for extreme environments and where lives are at stake.
