Congratulations to the Alabama Department of Transportation on receiving a 2026 SASHTO Award for the Blount County Triple Roundabout project!

It was an honor to provide design services for the Roundabout Series located at Exit 284 near Hayden, Alabama. The project introduced three roundabouts at SR-160, US-31, and I-65 to improve safety and address wrong-way movements at the interchange.

This recognition also marks Alabama’s first win in the America’s Transportation Awards program, making this especially meaningful.
