Riley is one of our welders here at Stur-D. He discovered his passion for welding in high school and has been pursuing the trade ever since.

Since joining the Stur-D team, he has focused on mastering the technical aspects of the craft, specifically developing a better understanding of how metal reacts to heat. 🔥

Riley’s preferred method is stick welding, and he is motivated by taking on challenging work.

In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing. 🎣

He attributes his job satisfaction to the quality of the people he works alongside every day.

Joey grew up on a farm near Center, ND. Currently, he has a dual-purpose role as both a welder and a truck driver. He recently earned his CDL.

Joey enjoys working for Stur-D because it feels like family to him. In his time working here, he has developed a greater attention to detail.

Lane was brought to the industry by his sister, Emily, who is also a member of the Stur-D team. He went to school for welding and has remained in the trade since.

Lane likes working at Stur-D because “it is a good family business, friendly environment, and is filled with good people”.

Outside of welding, Lane has a leather working side business. He is self-taught and enjoys making belts, wallets, and wants to progress to saddles. 🐎
