Job Overview:
Mudd Worx is seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Finisher to join our growing team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing drywall installations to a high-quality standard, ensuring smooth and seamless results for residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with experience in drywall finishing and a commitment to delivering exceptional work.

Key Responsibilities:
Apply joint compound to drywall seams, corners, and screw holes to create a smooth, seamless finish.
Tape drywall seams and cover with joint compound, ensuring no visible seams or imperfections.
Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to achieve a flawless finish.
Perform touch-ups and final finishing to meet project specifications and quality standards.
Measure, cut, and fit drywall to specific dimensions as required by the project.
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets the required standards and rectify any issues as needed.
Clean work area and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.
Maintain and care for tools and equipment used on the job site.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a drywall finisher or in a similar role (preferred, but not required).
In-depth knowledge of drywall installation, taping, mudding, and finishing techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
Ability to operate sanding, taping, and other drywall-related tools safely and effectively.
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures on construction sites.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in various environments, including residential and commercial job sites.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
Comfort working at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
