“Up about 25’ in the air recently at the Medicine Lodge Buffalo/Elk Ranch, running conduit and hanging chandeliers in a 100-year-old barn… because I dropped out of college and settled as an electrician!

Owner looks at me and goes, ‘You’re the only one dumb enough to do this.’

I told him, ‘Nah… I’m just the only one qualified AND dumb enough.’

All jokes aside, this is the kind of work we live for—figuring out clean ways to bring modern electrical into old buildings without tearing them apart. Not always easy, definitely not low to the ground, but we get it done right.

It didn’t listen.

So we brought in the mini excavator with a jackhammer and had a different conversation

Breaking out solid rock in an electrical trench isn’t glamorous, but it’s part of the job. At Jenkins Electric, we don’t back down from a challenge—whether the ground is soft dirt or Idaho’s finest concrete-grade lava rock.
