Is the smoke in the air making it hard to breathe? It's doing the same to your heating and cooling systems. It's very important to check your units filters more often during wildfire season or when doing construction on your home. BRRRRR!! It's cold outside and we are expecting low Temps for the next few day. Couple of tips on things to watch for with the cold and drifting snow.
-drifted snow can block your intake for your furnace. Check it through out the day to keep it clear.
- make sure your filter and batteries are changed. These are good rules to live by in the winter months so you don't get stuck in a cold house.
Of course if you have done these things and still not working give us a call and we would be more then happy to come and figure it out for you. Stay warm and safe.

Hope everyone is staying warm this Holiday season. Don't forget to check your filters. The 1 inch pleated filters are hard on your furnace. They don't let it breath like it needs too. We recommend the 4 inch pleated or 1 inch poly for your furnace. If you need filters give us a call at (208)604-5444 and we can bring some when we do a service call for you. Here at Todd's family and community are our #1 priority. Keeping this in mind, We are openly practicing social distancing. We view our business as mostly essential, therefore we need to maintain our health and consequently the health of you, our valued customers. We will postpone any non-essential visits (seasonal cleaning, elective replacements etc.) We are going to re-evaluate this policy weekly. We are washing and sanitizing our hands, keeping social distance to 6 feet, and avoiding any non-essential touching (door k***s, handshaking etc.) Please call with any concerns or questions. This is a move to help our community in this time of uncertainty and fear. Be safe and Blessed.
