24 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Technologist, working in construction monitoring and coordinating roles with progressively increasing responsibility; including ten years of experience in project management and supervisory positions. The past sIx years have been spent in the Alberta Oil Sands industry in a combined role as

a QA/QC Geotechnical and Construction Management professional. Working on large-scale earthwork projects has been a major emphasis of my career. Additional fields of experience include Construction Materials Testing, Geotechnical Investigation and Observation, Highway Inspection and Observation, and Structural Inspection. I bring the ability to grasp technical issues, communicate and problem-solve effectively, and actively participate in team-building on the projects I have been involved with. Prior to my career in the Engineering and Construction fields I worked for over a decade as a supervisor in Food Service Management. Work History

2008 TO JULY 2014 – Assigned to Louis Berger Group/Klohn Crippen Berger and later through AIM Group to various Geotechnical Coordination/ Construction Management positions working on major earthwork projects at Shell Albian Sands in Northern Alberta.


2004 TO 2008 – Employed in project management positions at Inland Engineering & Consulting and Terracon Consultants in Phoenix Arizona.


1990 TO 2004 – Employed at various consultants in Arizona as an Engineering Technologist, including AMEC Earth & Environmental, Geotechnical and Environmental Consultants, Foree & Vann, and in Wisconsin at STS Consultants, prior to arriving in Arizona in 1996.


1976 TO 1988 – Pursued a career in food service management, including ten years of experience working as a supervisor for Cousins Submarines, Inc. Education

1987-1989 – Attended Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, working on specialized construction and technical course work in Architectural Technology. Non-Degree.

2004-2006 – Enrolled part time at Phoenix College, Phoenix, Arizona working on specialized course work in Civil Engineering. Non-Degree.
