B.I.C is a small, family owned machine shop in Blanchester, Ohio. We have been in business for over 25 years. Come join our team!

We are looking for an individual to operate our saw and handle the receiving of all materials. Someone who is self-motivated and able to multitask. No experience required. Must be able to stand on feet for 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Fork lift experience a plus.

Duties:
-Operate 2 Saws, cutting raw materials to precise lengths.
-Receive raw materials that are delivered on a daily basis. Will require the use of a forklift.
-Tag and label all material that is received and ensure that it is stored in the proper location.

Job Estimator
Full-Time

As Job Estimator, you will be responsible to analyze drawings, models and other job specifications to form a quote based on time and material needed to make a product.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review customer drawings to develop a cost quote to manufacture their product. This will include pricing on raw materials and outsourcing needs.
- Develop an operation sequence with work holding needs.
- Input the information, including a time study, into our quoting software.
- Communicate with members of the quoting team and shop floor members.
- Follow up with suppliers and vendors to ensure that a timely quote is turned around to the customer.
- Ability to manage their time and prioritize the order of incoming quotes.

- Machining and Programming experience
- Ability to read drawings and models.
