JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: DUMP TRUCK DRIVER REPORT TO: DISPATCHER

JOB PURPOSE
Dump Truck Drivers haul material to various work sites or from one area of a work site to another.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Hauling of aggregates, asphalt or materials removed from job sites or to job sites.
• Pre and post trip inspections of trucks.
• Fill out the required paperwork completely and accurately.
• Washing and cleaning of truck interior and exterior including the truck bed.
• Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb in and out of truck cab and bed of truck.
• Must be able to drive off road on uneven surfaces.
• Able to maneuver and control vehicles in traffic on both rural, narrow roads and congested urban streets and highways.
• When necessary, you must be able to climb into bed of truck and shovel wet or frozen material from the bed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High level of skill and experience driving a commercial motor vehicle OR training in operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• Valid unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
• MSHA training or completion of MSHA training prior to driving solo.
