W9HD Shawnee Repeater Inc We provide enhanced coverage of 2 meter Amateur Radio communications for South-West Central Indiana.

The W9HD Shawnee Repeater is located 13 miles East of Bloomfield near the junction of Hwy 45 & Hwy 54, in Eastern Greene County Indiana. The frequency the repeater operates on is 147.240 TX and 147.840 RC with a 103.5 Hz PL. We officially went on the air Sep 18, 1978 and have been on the air (24/7) since that time. The W9HD Repeater has a Kenwood TM-271A Transceiver used for a "Remote Base" to enable the W9HD Repeater to work other nearby repeaters and simplex frequencies.

Tomorrow, April 23, 2026 the 444.800 MHz Raspberry Pi system located in my shop for the W9HD Digital Fusion system will be off the air to complete our home Generac installation. REMC plans to be here around 8:30 to 9:00 AM to disconnect our power at the pole transformer. I am guessing that the process will take 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours for the rewiring
