A prolonged heat wave is on it's way to Indiana next week, with current indications showing numerous days of oppressive conditions should be expected. It all starts to build in on Monday, but by Tuesday we will be in the thick of it with heat indices expected to make a run towards 110°F for a large chunk of Indiana.

Plan on staying hydrated, wear light colored clothing, limit outdoor time if possible, and check on the vulnerable.
