Shape Shifters is a small family owned manufacturing business located in Eastern Greene County, in search of a full-time painter. Accompanied with a minimum of three years experience, this individual must know how to paint, and have knowledge of, or be willing to learn how to powder coat and conversion coat a variety of metals.
Daily requirements of this position, you must show competency of during initial interview include:
Reading manufacturing blueprints
Cleaning metals prior to coating
Masking product prior to coating
Be able to lift 50lbs easily
Understanding of part marking via engraving, stenciling, labeling & inking
Experience assembling hardware, the tooling used during the assembly process and assembling multiple manufactured pieces
The ultimate candidate would also have knowledge/experience with running a laser engraver and a vinyl cutter. Regardless, these two skills can be learned on the job.

$18-$28 per hour depending on experience. One week of paid vacation and 11 paid holidays after completing a 90 day probationary period.
Hours are Monday - Thursday 7am-5:30pm
