Windows are incredibly important when it comes to load calculations because heat transfer occurs through them, including radiation through the glass and conduction through the frames, as you can see here.

🎄 Merry Christmas from my family to yours.

This season is a reminder to slow down and appreciate what really matters. Family, love, health, and the moments we often take for granted. This year had its challenges and its blessings, lessons that stretched us and moments that reminded us how grateful we truly are.

We’re thankful for everyone who’s been part of our journey—friends, family, and even the unexpected connections that showed up right when they were needed. Wishing you peace in your heart, warmth in your home, and time well spent with the people you love most.

May your Christmas be filled with joy, laughter, and memories that carry into the new year. ❤️🎄

🛠 From a Plumber’s Perspective
• That water coming out of the electrical outlet means there’s a serious plumbing leak inside the wall.
• It’s likely a pressurized line (cold or hot water) that has burst, cracked, or has a faulty fitting.
• The first step is to shut off the main water supply immediately to stop the leak before it causes more flooding and wall damage.
• A plumber would need to open the wall, locate the broken pipe, and repair/replace it.

⚡ From an Electrician’s Perspective
• Water and electricity don’t mix—this is a life-threatening hazard.
• That outlet is compromised and should be considered energized and unsafe until proven otherwise.
• You need to shut off power to that circuit (or the whole house, if unsure) at the breaker box right away.
• An electrician will need to inspect, dry out, and likely replace the outlet, box, and possibly nearby wiring because water intrusion can corrode terminals and cause arcing/fires later on.

✅ What You Should Do Immediately
1. Turn off the main water supply → Stop the leak.
2. Turn off the breaker feeding that outlet (or whole house power if you can’t isolate it).
3. Call a plumber first → fix the leak so no more water enters the electrical system.
4. Then call an electrician → replace/inspect the outlet and wiring to make it safe again.

🔴 Bottom line: You need both—but plumber first to stop the water, then electrician to make the system safe. Don’t touch that outlet or bucket until the power is off.

This is what happens when safety devices are ignored.
A rollout switch isn’t just a button — it’s your last line of defense against a fire.
Bypassing it can turn a small problem into a total loss.

If your furnace trips a safety, call a professional.
Protect your home. Protect your family.
