Following testing protocol saves lives. This cylinder burst during its hydro test today. It had not been tested since it’s manufacture in 1997. This could have been avoided if the cylinder was tested at regular 5 year intervals. Thankfully it failed in a controlled test situation and not while in service in someone’s racecar. Trust me, the cost of a hydro test is way less than your ER copay.

Do you have a home soda maker like a soda stream? You’ve asked, we’ve listened. We are working on refilling those CO2 canisters. We recently purchased a few adapters for our CO2 system. Now we just need a volunteer to bring us a bottle to fill. Message us here on Instagram or Facebook and we can set it up. Please do not just show up, this will be by appointment only.

Today’s is inspired by our new Galiso hydrostatic tester. This first picture is uncle Jim using our first tester, somewhere around 1975. We’ve upgraded through the years and are starting training on our newest system today. While the process remains the same, the new technology involved allows for more accurate measuring and more consistent results.
