Philadelphia's The Bellwether District is being transformed into a premier destination for life sciences, innovation, and advanced manufacturing, creating a new hub for companies advancing the next generation of healthcare technologies. The 1,300-acre development is designed to connect world-class talent, research, and manufacturing capabilities in one of the nation's leading life sciences markets.

Mainstay Engineering Group is proud to support that vision by providing civil and structural engineering services for the fit-out of TerraPower Isotopes' flagship cGMP manufacturing facility in collaboration with Orchestra Life Sciences. Once operational, the facility will help expand the supply of actinium-225, a critical isotope used in the development of targeted cancer therapies.

We're excited to contribute to a project that is helping shape the future of the Bellwether District and further strengthen Greater Philadelphia's position as a leader in the life sciences industry.

Project Spotlight: Temporary Bridge Design for Meta's Louisiana Data Center

One of the most rewarding parts of engineering is seeing a project evolve from design concepts and calculations to a completed structure making an impact in the field.

For this project, Mainstay Engineering Group designed eight temporary vehicle and pedestrian bridges supporting construction of Meta's 2,250-acre data center campus in Rayville, Louisiana. Built to navigate challenging wetland conditions and accommodate heavy construction equipment, these bridges now provide critical access across one of the nation's largest data center developments.

Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to attend a Lunch N' Learn and powder-actuated fastening tool demonstration led by Hilti Field Engineer Jason Anna.

Thank you to Jason and the Hilti team for sharing their knowledge and giving our engineers a firsthand look at the tools and techniques that help bring structural designs into reality. Sessions like these strengthen the connection between engineering and construction, providing valuable insight into how innovative field technologies improve efficiency, quality, and constructability.

We appreciate the opportunity to continue learning from industry partners and expanding our understanding of the construction process.
