This beautiful lakeside residence was designed by Architecture for Life with landscape by Emma Kelly Landscape and solar by ReVision Energy

It is a post-and-beam structure and contains many sustainable features throughout including high-performance tilt-turn windows and sliding glass doors, energy efficient insulation, a green roof system, and a heating and cooling system provided by sophisticated open-loop geothermal technology.

Additionally, there is an elevator provided by Maine Accessibility and stone countertops from Freshwater Stone

That’s dowsing — an old method for finding underground water (or pipes, or metal) using nothing but a stick, some bent wire, and a hunch. No scientific backing, zero batteries required, and still very much alive on wells here in Maine. 🌿💧
