Alarm, Fire, & Security is looking to hire an experienced Security Systems Technician for the installation, service, and maintenance of the following security systems;
Fire/Security Alarm Systems
Access Control
Surveillance Systems
Automated Gate Systems
Robotic Security Systems
Autonomous Drone Systems
Advanced Integrated Systems

Alarm, Fire, & Security will provide certifications and additional training for the technician to expand their career. We work with several top manufacturers to provide the highest quality product to our clients. Great communication skills and customer service is necessary to become a technician for AFS. AFS will provide a truck/van and all tools required to complete the job.

5 or more years of experience in at least one of the following systems is preferred but not required:
Intrusion/Burglar Alarm
Access Control
Surveillance Systems
Automated Gate Systems

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND BE ABLE TO PROVIDE AN UPDATED 5 OR 10-YEAR MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD TO BE CONSIDERED.

Starting pay is $20-$35 per hour depending on experience and certifications. If no certifications are held, the candidates may be required to pass a closed book proctored exam for a higher starting pay.

Alarm, Fire, & Security is in search of an experienced Security technician with a specialization in Access Control, Automated Gates, and Visitor Management.

Responsibilities include the installation, service, and maintenance of structural and electronic access control, automated swing, slide, barrier, and crash gate systems, automated door openers, and visitor management systems. This positions primary responsibility is for access control, however, cross-training will be provided for camera and security alarm installations.

Rate of pay is $25-39 per hour depending on certifications and years of experience.

A proctored knowledge based skill exam will be administered prior to job offer.

Alarm Fire & Security, leading fire protection and life safety system contractor, is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fitter Helper.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills and an opportunity to grow with a dynamic Fire Sprinkler Company.

The Fire Sprinkler Fitter Helper is considered a trainee who is learning the mechanics of fire sprinkler system installation. Will have an opportunity to go through an AFSA apprenticeship program for fire protection installation. This position may be responsible for site clean-up, unloading, staging, and distributing work material to other employees at a job site. The position will also cut and thread pipe. May install and test fire sprinkler systems under the close guidance of a Fire Sprinkler Fitter. The helper receives guidance and direction regarding day-to-day work tasks from a Fire Sprinkler Fitter.

Construction trade experience demonstrating mechanical skills or related training is preferred. The Fire Sprinkler Fitter Helper must be reliable, able to follow verbal work instructions/directions, able to follow through on assigned tasks and exhibit the initiative to learn the skills of the trade. The ability to read labels, signage, and directions along with basic math computation skills are also required. Candidates should have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in case required to drive a company vehicle and reliable transportation.

The Fire Alarm Service Technician:
• Is responsible for service and construction project management (as needed) of fire alarm systems, and other types of low voltage systems.

The qualifications for the Fire Alarm Service Technician position include:
• Several years of experience and knowledge related to service and programming of fire alarm systems.
• Experience with NFPA 72 and IFC.
• FCI, Fire-Lite, Honeywell, Hochiki experience (preferred).
• NICET Level I certification in Fire Alarm Systems is desired to obtain NICET Level II certification within two years of employment.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete forms/documents and read/comprehend drawings and schematics
• Previous fire alarm certification is a plus
• The candidate should be capable of working with minimum supervision and be able to troubleshoot and repair systems.
