Our team traded hard hats for bowling shoes and enjoyed an afternoon of friendly competition and time together in recognition of our ongoing safety efforts. 🎳

Last year, we completed a new 19,200-square-foot municipal maintenance facility for the City of Berne, Indiana. The building was designed to provide secure storage, maintenance space, and operational support for city equipment and public works activities. We provided steel er****on services and construction management throughout the project.

Big things are happening at Almco Steel Products.

As part of Almco's 60,000-square-foot expansion, a massive new press recently arrived on-site—and getting it there was no small feat. The press was shipped all the way from Spain and delivered on a specialized transport truck with an incredible 121 wheels!

Moving equipment of this size takes months of planning, precise coordination and seamless logistics. Once the press was safely in place, our team could continue work on the expansion that will help support Almco's future growth.

We were honored to join the Town of Ossian, Indiana, Trusted Manufacturing, and the Wells County Chamber of Commerce County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the groundbreaking of Trusted Manufacturing's new 44,100-square-foot expansion.

Who's "Behind the B" at Briner?

Meet Project Superintendent Sam Laws. Sam has worked at Briner for 18 years and manages on-site daily operations, schedules and project quality. He’s responsible for jobsite employees, subcontractors, materials and equipment. "What I enjoy most about working at Briner is meeting with company owners and learning how to exceed their expectations," Sam shared. "For me, it's all about the relationship with our partners."

Sam is a proud graduate of Purdue University, as are both of his adult children. He is enjoying being a first-time grandpa.
