# # Meet Candy: The Heart & Hustle Behind CC Consulting # #
Here’s a little bit about me.
First and foremost, I am a single mom to two teenage girls. They are beautiful, they are the absolute light of my life, and they are the reason I get up in the morning (and, honestly, the reason I sometimes can’t fall asleep at night!). To keep up with them and my business, I run almost entirely on coffee and Red Bull.
I am also one of the weirdest people you will ever meet because **I genuinely love pulling permits.**
I know, I know. Most people find the entire process tedious, frustrating, or downright impossible. That is exactly why I opened CC Consulting. I wanted to share my passion and take that heavy lifting off the shoulders of people who dread it. I love the challenge of taking a complex problem, diving into the codes, and fixing it.
This work is incredibly close to my heart. It makes me feel connected to my dad, who was a contractor for 40 years before he passed away. I definitely didn't inherit the patience required to actually build the structures like he did, but I absolutely inherited his love for the industry.
If I’m being completely honest, I sometimes get in my own way. I am a fast-moving person—*quick, quick, quick*—and in the past, that speed meant I could sometimes be a little too pitchy instead of just slowing down and listening to what you really need. I’m human, and I’m always growing.
I know how incredibly hard it is to feel like you are giving up control of your projects, your jobs, and your vision when you hand things over to outside vendors or subcontractors. **But I don’t want you to give up control.**
I just want to take the tedious, time-consuming stuff off your hands. I don’t want to be some outsider you have to worry about managing; I want to be a seamless extension of your team.
I hope this gives you a little insight into who I am. I want you to feel comfortable knowing that not everyone out here is just trying to make a quick buck. I truly care about you—not just as business owners and contractors, but as people.
Let's handle the paperwork so you can get back to building.
