Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician - Full Benefits - 5+ Years Exp Req
About Us:
A.L. Boeck & Co. is an On-Site Heavy Equipment Repair company servicing San Antonio and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch repair & l**e services for all major brands of machinery. You will be operating from a fully-rigged service truck and inspecting/repairing machinery at all customer job sites.
Experienced candidates starting at ~$32/hr+ Typically give yearly $1-2hr performance based raises. Plus FULL BENEFITS package, simple IRA with company match, health/vision/dental, 40hr bonuses, extra PTO, etc!
Job Hours: Full-Time - Monday-Friday (approx 8-12hrs/day)
Responsibilities:
-Document all machine information (make, model, serial #, equipment #, odo/hrs, etc)
-Maintain accurate time and mileage records and turn in information on a daily basis
-Repair and maintain a variety of complex equipment, tools, and vehicles involving mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and electrical systems
Requirements:
-5+ years of experience as a heavy equipment/diesel mechanic, preferably in the field
-Provide own tools and possess the ability to safely and effectively use them (Specialty/Large Tools provided.)
-Ability to diagnose complex mechanical problems and successfully repair the equipment
-Ability to safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
-Must be dependable and report to work on time; personal phone calls in an emergency only
-Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and yard personnel
-Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
-Must maintain a satisfactory driving record at all times
-Must be able to perform basic computer operations
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Physical Demands:
Requires the ability to lift, push or pull and move up to 70 pounds and must be capable of climbing, kneeling, twisting and bending in a varied environment
Job distance:
-We provide services all over San Antonio, Austin, Houston, New Braunfels, Boerne, San Marcos, Seguin, Spring Branch, etc. Company vehicle is driven home daily.
Compensation:
